If I goto http://www.richtexteditor.com/demo/ then double click on the first image, the properties dialog box appears. If I then click on tooltip and try to type only the first letter typed appears. If I do the same on long description the first letter appears here also but the rest goes into the html. Click again on long description and it works fine, so does the tooltip.

Can you recreate this.... IE 11 only?

I have tested the same steps on my windows 8 IE 11.0.9600.16476 and windows 7 IE 11.0.9600.16428, both works fine.

I tried the single character as you mentioned, what i got from the html view is

<img src="/uploads/j0262681.jpg" alt="" title="a" />

Are ou using any special keyboard? Can you try the 'English-US'? what I mean is the input language setting.

Its not the single character I have a problem with, that's the only character that appears. If I try to type "word" into the tooltip box straight after the dialog has opened I only get the first letter. I then have to click again to type the second letter. If I am quick enough I might get two letters!

I have tested on 6 IE 11 machines with Win 8 and 7 all 11.0.9600.16476 . One machine had English-us the rest english-uk.

Firefox and chrome and IE10 work fine.
