    Hi,
     
    I wrote a post couple of weeks ago, reporting that the Uploader Stopped  working suddenly.
     
    And then I was sent with a newer version of the Uploader dll.
     
    I put it in place - tested, didn't work. After a day - it started working.
     
    In fact - thats what I thought after one user said she uploaded some files.
    Turns out to be - it still doesn't  work for me (Vista/IE 7, or Windows 2003/IE 8) and another user reported it doesn't work for him (Windows 7/IE 8).
    It is deployed in Windows 2003/IIS 6 environment.
     
    Hope you guys can resolve it, we can't continue to leave it in this state - because our client is a government and users need to submit data files every month.

    Hi nhuda,
     
    I tested your page.
    It only allows xml file in your online demo.
     
    It uploaded successfully .
    My test file is test.xml with the content of '123 456 789'
     
    The following is the test result.

    Testing File Upload

    Following 1 files are successfully uploaded:
    1. test.xml

    Thats the problem, Jeff.
     
    It used to work for everybody.
     
    But now - it doesn't work for me and for some other users.
     
    Thats the reason - I need your help.

    Can you explain your issue on detial? What do you mean does not work?
     
    Click the upload button nothing happen? Or get error after seleced the files to upload?
     
    If you get any error, please show me the full error message.
     
    Maybe you can try upgrade you Silverlight/flash control to the latest version and try again.

    Hi Ken,

    After I click Upload button and Select a file or files, the status bar sits at 0%. However, two different machines produce two different errors.

    1)      Windows Server 2003/IE 8: gives “Flash: The upload task is interrupted! Io Error #2038” after 5 minutes approx.

    2)      Vista/IE 7: gives “SLM error:12031” after half hour approx.

     

    I think we have latest version of the flash. But didn’t know Silverlight is relevant. I’ll have to check on that.

    1. Please try the link below, it should show you the debug info in top right when you upload file. Please show me all  debug info.

    2. try disable all plugins of the browser.
    3.Disable all Anti-virus software and firewall to try again. (your test pc, not the server)
