Cutechat - User Timeout setting

Under the Configuration page - User Timeout Setting the Default: 40 seconds. The user's connection will be automatically cut after a timeout of inactivity.

My Question is, What do I need to set this to in order for the timeout to be 'disabled', i.e. NO user timeout

There is no such option. You can set it a larger number.

Can you give me the units of the setting, is it in minutes, seconds, ticks? E.g. if I enter 15 will this be 15 minutes, 15 hours, 15 seconds etc

The unit of this setting is in seconds.

if you mean the "OnlineTimeout" of the sample portal ,
That setting just for the sample portal

Thanks Terry. I am using the Sample Portals' Client files as temporary interface for my application. Does this use the timeout from one of the XML files? If it does, can you direct me to where it does?
