How to integrate membership database

We have a site membership database in SQL Server 2005.

I was wondering how to go about integrating this site membership database with Messenger, so that when users are added/deleted from the site membership database then this change is automatically made to the Messenger accounts. And when users login into the website, then they are automically logged into Messenger.

I had a look at http://cutesoft.net/ASP.NET+Chat/Developer-Guide/scr/DeploymentIntegration.htm and I'm not sure where to start.

Any advice on the first steps would be appreciated.

1. You need to download the integration package first. http://cutesoft.net/downloads/folders/chat_current_releases/entry28676.aspx

2. Follow the integration stpes: http://cutesoft.net/ASP.NET+Chat/Developer-Guide/scr/DeploymentIntegration.htm

3. If you are using ASP.NET 2.0 membership, you can reference the projects (They use asp.net 2.0 membership too).
