When using Cutechat it is possible to direct chat to one person in a room by clicking on their name . How can this be turned off?

 

Yes.

 

Admin Console-->Configuration --> Functionalities -->Allow private chat (false)

Sorry was not clear enough. When you click a name in a room you address that person directly. For example it says Person A to Person B. How can this be changed back so that Person A addresses the whole room rather than the chosen person.
