If the client crashes whenever the operator tries to send a message to customer, the solution is NOT TO USE IT ON Windows Vista

Dont pay $100 for custom installation (or v5 upgrade idea just for this reason)

The live support version 3.0 works well on WIndows Vista.

You don't need to upgrade to version 5.0 for this reason.

Karen said that my installation is broken and asked for $100 for re-installation, but when I've tried it on XP SP3 it worked. It still does not work with Vista (64 bit). I've cc'ed you on mails, you can take a look at them.

Have you tried version 5.0 on that machine?
