Replace the textbox:

<asp:TextBox id=EditNews_news_html cssclass="DataFONT" TextMode=MultiLine Rows=16 Columns=80 runat="server">
</asp:TextBox>

With CuteEditor:

<CE:Editor id="EditNews_news_html" runat="server"></CE:Editor>

Parser Error

Description: An error occurred during the parsing of a resource required to service this request. Please review the following specific parse error details and modify your source file appropriately.

Parser Error Message: The base class includes the field 'EditNews_news_html', but its type (System.Web.UI.WebControls.TextBox) is not compatible with the type of control (CuteEditor.Editor).

Source Error:

Line 31:       <td class="FieldCaptionTD"><font class="FieldCaptionFONT">News</font></td>
Line 32:           <td class="DataTD">
Line 33:     <CE:Editor id=EditNews_news_html runat="server" ></CE:Editor>

Open your code behind page.

Change the following code:

protected System.Web.UI.WebControls.TextBox EditNews_news_html;

to:

protected CuteEditor.Editor EditNews_news_html;

I tried it already, and added a using CuteEditor directive at the code behind file beginning. But when I compile the solution via VS.net, it always prompt me: missing using....

Can you check the error for me? thanks.

Have you added reference to CuteEditor.dll?

How to Add the CuteEditor assembly to your project?

1. From the Project menu, choose Add Reference. The Add Reference window appears.

2. Click Browse and locate the CuteEditor.dll.
3. Select CuteEditor.dll and click Open.

4. Click OK to add the assembly reference to your project.

Now the problem is I can input test/html body into the database, when I call back the text/html content data from SQL, it was chaotic, like this:
