Is it possible to change the ToolTips displayed for existing buttons?

I know how to do this when creating a button but I would like to modify the tooltip of an existing button.

Ie. Change "Image Gallery" to "Private Image Gallery".

I have modifed as suggest but now have another problem. If I modify...

Now I have two buttons on my tool bar. One tool tip displays "My Image Gallery" and the second button (that I have created) shows a tool tip of "Public Image Gallery". This is just what I wanted. However, the dialog popup window now has a title & subtitle of "My image gallery" when either button is clicked (as opposed to my button having a title and subtitle of "Public image gallery"). I have tried adding a resource line in the xml file specific for my button but this doesnt work as I have to execute command "ImageGalleryByBrowsing" command in order to launch the dialog.

 

Is there any way I can get round this? (I do realise I may be asking to take customization a little too far here)
