When I use the examples on this site, tabbing into the CE editor from the "To:" edit box results in the workspace (inner frame) area being selected. Although the cursor is not displayed, I can immediately begin typing...

However, downloading the latest version of CE and doing the same thing (tabbing from the edit box beside the "all the predefined buttons" wording) results in the outer frame being selected and I cannot begin typing unless I mouse click into the inner frame workarea:

 

 

 

Can you explain how I can achieve the first image's effect on tabbing and also show the focus at the same time?

In first example, the current window already get focus for some reasons. In the second example, if you can click some where in the page, window will get focus. Then you can tab into any control.

The first window is your own demo - the email example. I clicked into the "To:" box and pressed the tab key. Do the same and you will see the result.

 

The second window is the downloaded current version. I added a textbox beside the area, clicked into the textbox, pressed the tab key and it gave the effect.

 

Can you explain that?

The problem is that CE doesn't seem to take the focus when I tab from a normal .NET control to the CE. In your examples, like the email example, the inside work area gets highlighted, but even then the actual cursor doesn't display in the body.

 

In both the current download and all recent downloads, I can't even get that effect. Instead of highlighting the inside workarea, it highlights the outside area, like I showed you in the image I sent. Further, under those conditions, I can't even start typing until I actually click into the body area.

 

How do I fix this problem?
