question about AllowEditServerSideCode Properties

If I set
AllowEditServerSideCode = true
I should be able to do this <% response.write ("Hello Word") %> correct?

it not working for me. Any Ideas?

I tried the following example and it aloud to use server side tags but no execution happens. If I try to do response.write (now ()) I not getting a time stamp

Is there a resolution for this?

I am using version 6.0 and added

editor.AllowEditServerSideCode = true ' June 16 2007

to the program. As with Vlad G, I try a couple things .. <% response.write "Hi there" %> and

Both of those show up in the rendered webpage just like above.

I went to the demo page that you told Vlad to go to but what does that prove to us?

Hoping for a resolution or at least an answer in reasonable time.

Well how do I know it is working there ... the code is rendered on the server and all you see is the results.

What I do know is this...

It doesn't work on my server(s)
Every bug report I have reported has been legitimate and you had to fix it, after you give me the "it works on the demo" and me spending hours assembling the forensic evidence to prove you wrong.

However, I am rethinking this strategy based on some other threads so if you are going to attend to this then you can put it low priority as far as I am concerned.

You should really beta test your software with power users (who agree to the beta) before releasing this stuff into production.
