When I use the align function the code becomes like this :

Is there a way for cutesoft to replace the <p> by <DIV>

Eg <div align="right"></div>"

Can you explain the problem in more details?

If you have the following HTML code,

<p>Hello World</p>

after you click the align button you will get the following HTML code:

<p align=right>Hello World</p>

If you have the following HTML code,

<div>Hello World</div>

after you click the align button you will get the following HTML code:

<div align=right>Hello World</div>

Not exactly.

My original text don't have any <p> or <div>

It's just plain text like

MyText

When I align it, the default is <p align="right">MyText</p>

Is there a way for the <p> to be replaced by either a DIV or a SPAN, preferably a span ?

In the Normal view, please remove all content of the editor.

Then type "MyText", click the align button, you will get <div align=right>MyText</div>.

There is one method can reproduce the problem (IE only). In this situation, IE default behavior will take control.

In the HTML view, remove all content of the editor, and type "MyText".

Click the align button right away, you will get <p align=right>MyText</p>.
