    Trial Version

I'm trying to get the trial version to work in my web app. I got past the license error by reading the instructions :-) And the I got an error that "CuteEditor_Files" could not be accessed. I created said folder. Now I get an error saying that WinIE.js within the aforementioned folder could not be accessed. I feel like there are missing files in the trial version as I was expecting a directory full of button images that would be used, ...etc and there are no such files in the .zip file I pulled down.

    Ideas?

    - Thanks, Alan

    Alan,

I feel like there are missing files in the trial version as I was expecting a directory full of button images that would be used, ...etc and there are no such files in the .zip file I pulled down.

No, there are no missing files in the trial version.

The CuteEditor.Control itself contains all the needed files.

At run-time, when the first hit comes to the page, CuteEditor control will check for the needed files, images, and as it won't be there, it will create the folder and extract files from assembly.

Please note that in order to save files on the server, the current user must have disk write permissions on the destination folder.

After you extract all the files from the assembly, ASPNET doesn't need to have write permissions on the destination folder any more. You can also extract all the files in your local machine and upload all of them to the server.

If you still have problem, please let me know.
