Add your own functions to the CuteEditor with the help of CuteEditor extended functionalities.

 

is not working fine in IE but not working in Fire Fox.

  //show the dialog page , and pass the editor as newwin.dialogArguments
  var newwin=showModalDialog("My_Custom_Text.html?_rand="+new Date().getTime()
    ,editor,"dialogWidth:400px;dialogHeight:240px");
 }

 

showModalDialog is an IE only function.

 

I will write another example tomorrow showing you how to open a dialog for Gecko browsers.
