CSS styles not showing correctly

Hi,

The CSS style element of an HTML document is ignored in Cute. For example, if I put in HTML like this:

<html>
    <head>
        <style type="text/css">
                  body { font-size: 9pt; color: #501912; font-family: Arial;}
                  p { font-size: 9pt; color: #501912; font-family: Arial;}
         </style>
     </head>
    <body>
<p>This text should be 9pt, color #501912 and font family: arial</p>

</body>
</html>

The above doesn't preview as it should, it simply shows in black. Shouldn't the preview take into consideration the document style tag???

Gerardicus,

Have you used Editor.EditorWysiwygModeCss Property and apply style sheet filesto the editable area?

Please check the Editor.EditorBodyStyle Property as well.

Editor.EditorBodyStyle Property
The style to be applied to the Editor body.

Example Code

      <%
           Dim editor
           Set editor = New CuteEditor
           editor.ID = "Editor1"
           'Sets the style to be applied to the Editor body.
           editor.EditorBodyStyle = "table { font:normal 12px arial; }"
           editor.Text = "Hello World"
           editor.Draw()
      %>

It works in the above example. I believe we fixed this issue in the version 6.1.
