I have my own text area and update button.

Is there a way to use some of the formatting features without the load and save buttons.

I could get the information out of the database and put it in my textarea, but I can't do this with cuteeditor.

It seems to retrieve the information from a seperate location.

Yes. You can use your own save or submit buttons.

 

You can get the data from your database and use the editor.Text property to populate the CuteEditor with the above data.
