I have a website with cuteeditor version 6.4 and it was published a long time ago in a production environment. Now I want to upgrade the cuteeditor component, to a newer version, let's say 6.6, but replacing files in bin folder and cuteeditor_client files doesn't work. Server throws an exception saying "I cant load module... blah 6.4.0.0, token=bllablhablha, I found 6.6 and it's a manifest mismatch" (well something like this, now I cannot reproduce the error).

The question is: can I upgrade cute editor without having to republish the website?

Hi xmas79,

You just need to replace the dll files and the "CuteSoft_Client" folder to the new version. If your site is a web application, I think you need to re-build the project with the new dll file. If not, just replace the old files, it should work.

If you still get any error with the new versoin, please show me the full error message. We will check it and get back to you as soon as possible.
