Autocompleting html tags

Cutesoft Editor automatically completes html tags.

E.g. when i type <img> in html editor and go to normal or preview mode it automatically completes the tag like this

I dont want this feature.

is there any property to set off ?

Please open CuteSoft_Client\CuteEditor\Scripts\Constant.js.

Change the following code

editorconstant.UseXhtmlFormat=true;

editorconstant.UseXhtmlFormat=false;

After doing this line break has been gone means no line break works.

one more thing when i type

editor replaces it to

Please reply.

(one more thing DisableCtrlZ setting to true in constant.js is also not working)

Hi Adam,

Thank for replying.

I know that html code is wrong but i need it as per my Application Requirement.

i want to keep it as it is. but the editor changes it.

I just want to keep my html as it is (whatever it is , let it be wrong html or anything else).

Please reply.

Hi Adam,

I know that HTML Code written by me is not supported by any browser.

But my question here is why it is changing that html ?

I will replace it while it will move to Normal or Preview Mode with proper HTML Code.

Why cute editor is changing my HTML ?

The above HTML code is not supported by any browser. Cute Editor is a browser-based HTML Editor.
