I've created new tab with view and edit settings set only to registered users.

I've also created a new user account with name and password is test/test.

Now I did have the same error.

I'll work on that and get back to you as soon as possible.

I do realize that there is still an issue, however for us, upgrading to the 4.0.0.4 version and changing the provider to use config files has resolved our problem. I do not know if it will resolve yours or which of the two changes fixed the problem, however it was noticed as a "happy by-product" of the changes we implemented. Just wanted to pass the information along.

Adam,

I can see that your testsite is working ok. But updating to 4.0.0.5 doesn't fix the problem in my site.

I tried it with standard DotNetNuke and problem is the same with 4.0.0.4 and 4.0.0.5.

Did you do something with DotNetNuke code when you got it working??

Are you still working with the update to fix this or am I doing something wrong?

Which version of dotnetnuke are you using?

The demo site is using the Dotnetnuke 2.1.2. We didn't make any changes to it.

The problem has been resolved.

Please check the followings:

1. Have you updated the CuteEditor.dll?

2. Have you DotNetNuke.CEHtmlEditorProvider.dll as well?

Adam,

I'm using DNN 2.1.2.

I copied CuteEditor.dll and DotNetNuke.CEHtmlProvider.dll to DotNetNuke\bin folder. DLL files are dated 27.2.2005.

I also copied the CEHtmlEditorProvider folder with subfolders to DotNetNuke\Providers\HtmlEditorProviders

But the problem is exactly the same. Am I missing something?

Hi all,

and thank you Adam for your help.

My testsite is working ok now when I'm not using it as localhost.

CuteEditor 4.0.0.5 fixed this problem. Can't really say what is wrong when operating as localhost.

It probably is just my problem because for all I know Adam's testsite is working ok also as localhost.

That really isn't problem to me. I don't have to use it as localhost.
